ArtUp is pleased to invite you to an Artist Talk with Barbara Taff this Sunday, April 27 from 2–4 PM, in celebration of her solo exhibition, Look, Look Again. With her pioneering work in large-scale 3-D lenticular imagery, Taff has developed an immersive visual language that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. Her work invites you to slow down, shift your perspective, and discover the dangerous beasts, party dresses, lovers and light bulb moments, all hidden in the cracks, puddles, and textures of everyday life.
In her talk, Barbara will share the personal and poetic lens through which she views the world, and the technical innovations that allow her to reveal multiple images within a single frame. From her Bauhaus roots to her explorations in optical illusion and holography, Taff’s creative journey spans decades of experimentation and award-winning design. Don’t miss this chance to hear directly from the artist about her unique process and the surprising stories behind the works on view.
We hope you’ll join us for this special afternoon of insight, reflection, and conversation.
