She and guest practitioners will temporarily turn the gallery into a healing clinic, offering sliding-scale herbal consultations, Shamanic Reiki sessions, and Myofascial Release therapy on a walk-in basis. There will also be herbal remedies and medicinal tea blends available for purchase.

In order to bring alternative healing modalities to as many people as possible, abbreviated sessions will be offered at a discounted, sliding-scale rate, beginning at $40, though no one will be turned away for lack of funds. The modalities intend to treat the whole person, regardless of how issues are expressing on the mind-body-spirit continuum.

Herbal consultations will include an individual clinical assessment and a personalized herbal protocol with recommendations for herbal remedies. Shamanic Reiki sessions utilize non-invasive hands-on energy healing, combining traditional Usui Reiki and Shamanic Reiki as taught by Llyn Cedar Roberts, and may incorporate drumming, plants, and guided meditations. Myofascial release therapy uses gentle, constant massage that releases tightness and pain throughout the myofascial tissues.

In addition to being a writer and curator, Lindsay Comstock is a Catskills-based clinical herbalist and Shamanic Reiki master.
